Program Title:

Chamber Music for an Orchestral Program

Description:

Each day will be five hours of intensive hands-on work within a laboratory setting (with participant ensembles and selected high school and middle school student ensembles). The basic ensemble will be a string quartet but string trios and duets will be utilized. Interwoven in the days will be a survey of literature, executive skill development, score analysis and issues from participants.

TIME: Monday - Thursday: 2:00 - 7:30 pm
Friday: 10:30 - 4:00pm

INSTRUCTOR: Professor Robert Culver / Kristen Pellegrino

This workshop may be taken for graduate credit (NCFD), Continuing Education Units (CEU), or for personal enrichment without college credit.
