Pediatric AIDS Program (Derrick Clinic)
Description:
The University of Michigan Health System's Pediatric HIV Program, known as the Derrick Clinic, provides nutrition counseling, child psychology, social work, nursing and infectious disease treatment. Children who are HIV-positive and are patients at the clinic are placed in a tracking program, where diagnostic, therapeutic and ancillary services are available.
The clinic is located on the first floor of the Taubman Center in Pod D. Clinic Appointments are necessary and are available by primary physician referral only. Contact your physician to obtain a referral. Appointments are available from 8:15 a.m. - noon on the first and second Wednesday of each month.
